just cause you don't have the cash doesn't make it useless. It's useful to those that could afford it.

well I believe there's a trick that stops windows from paging and forces it to store most of itself in the ram but I don't think its totally what your looking for.

i could use that as well. xp refuses to stop using the page file despite the fact i told it not to.

try the registry edit then disable the page file. and make sure you delete the file after you disable it.
